Ange has over 30 years industry experience, providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise in both garment selection and account management for her customers. Ange is a self-motivated team member who enjoys guiding her customers throughout the onboarding process, ultimately streamlining their uniform requirements and saving them time and money!

Ange loves the collaborative nature of the SHAWL Group working environment with a balance of both experienced professionals and fresh faces in the industry innovating the way uniform solutions are delivered.

Brie started in the Marketing/Sales Support Team a year after graduating with a Public Relations & Communication degree. Over the last 5 years she has had exposure to all areas within the business, gaining invaluable experience from our industry experts.

Brie has learned every business is different and requires a tailored approach to ensure their specific business requirements are effectively managed. With a marketing background she understands business values, the importance of branding and how it can be used to develop the best uniform solutions.

Brie is a people person; she enjoys getting to know her customers and working in such an amazing and supportive company where it feels more like family.

Chantelle has extensive experience in sales support and account management roles within the uniform industry.  She is self-motivated and ensures her customers are provided with an amazing service alongside great product. Chantelle is extremely hands-on and takes pride in understanding customer business requirements around all aspects of uniforms, workwear and PPE. She is a great communicator and excels at managing customer accounts across multiple industries.

In her spare time you will find Chantelle at the Motorbike and Dirt track soaking up the sun.

Mekaylar’s professional qualifications, a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Technology Sydney, see her possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

She is an agile and proactive National Account Manager, proficient with planning and contingency workflows as well as strategies for onboarding that ensure business continuity. With demonstrated success in the evaluation and implementation of new processes and procedures, her excellent communication skills have seen her instrumental in business transitions.

As a result of her of effective relationship management there are improved channels of communication, increased stakeholder engagement and efficiencies created in the business that benefit internal and external partners.

In her spare time, you’ll find Mekaylar curled up with a good book or sporting her Akubra, heading out to the country for a relaxing weekend.

With 25 years’ experience in Marketing, Customer Service and the Retail sector, Kath brings a wealth of knowledge and an infectious, positive, can-do attitude!

Kath enjoys liaising between clients, suppliers, and internal departments, delivering the best possible customer service with a view to growing and supporting long term relationships. With her proactive and authentic approach, Kath delivers uniform solutions based on business requirements, ensuring her customer needs are the number one priority.

Her previous experience as an Area Manager looking after a portfolio of successful Active Wear stores provided Kath with invaluable problem solving, time management, issue resolution and communication skills. Kath also understands the importance of Branding and ensuring uniform solutions fit within a company’s overall brand image.

Kath is a keen runner and enjoys running through Sydney’s National Parks.

Linda joined SHAWL Group with over 25 years sales, account management, and customer service experience. Bringing a wealth of knowledge to the business with emphasis on fit for purpose product, end user comfort and a passion for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Clothing (PPC).

Linda loves building a rapport with clients and suppliers for lasting relationships, enjoys challenges and thinks outside the box, coupled with a can-do attitude.

In her own time you will find Linda enjoying her extensive garden and car racing.

Sabrina joined SHAWL in 2011, with 25 years’ experience in the retail industry, finding a keen interest in the workwear sector. With this, she brings a wealth of product knowledge and an understanding of the customer experience from a management perspective.

Sabrina has managed major client accounts over the past 10 years such as Patrick Terminals, Foxtel, KIA, Dept of Veteran Affairs, Vicinity Centres, One School Global and Mastermyne. She enjoys working with clients to design a uniform program to suit all aspects of their business.

Sabrina has had two beautiful children during her time at SHAWL and loves how a strong work/life balance is not only encouraged but is part of the SHAWL philosophy.

Sabrina enjoys spending her time outside of work, discovering new bushwalks and singing with the kids.

Sacha joined SHAWL with a background in hospitality, aviation & property management. Sacha enjoys the social aspect of establishing and strengthening relationships with clients to best serve the needs of their business.

Sacha is responsible for a number of major clients across New Zealand. These include hospitals, transport & logistics companies, automotive retail, veterinarian surgeries and much more.

Growing up rurally on a farm in New Zealand, Sacha loves to spend her weekends outdoors, adventuring or cooking with family and friends.

Selma has over 35 years experience in sales and customer service with success in various roles including project coordination, sales support and account management.

With a wealth of knowledge across all facets of sales and service Selma is focussed on determining, presenting and delivering client solutions.

In Selma’s spare time you will catch her walking the dog or spending time with friends and family.

Luisa joined us in 2020 and has previously held BDM and Contract Management positions with various uniform manufacturers managing large scale government contracts for the likes of NSW Health, NSW Ambulance and NSW Rural Fire service.

As Sales Director, Luisa is instrumental in the preparation of tender responses, presentations and contract implementation. Her hands-on approach to contract management has seen real results with a focus on end-user comfort and overall improved customer experience.

With over 20 years of Textile experience and B2B relationship management at all levels Luisa has the skills and knowledge to ensure successful project outcomes.

In her spare time, you’ll find Luisa up early and running beautiful nature trails.

Holly has grown with the business over the past 10 years and was supported through her completion of a Bachelor of Communications degree in 2014.

Holly has a wide knowledge base, having commenced in the Retail Showroom and transitioning into Warehouse Quality Control. Holly was instrumental in the formation of the Customer Service Team in 2015, promoted to Customer Service Manager in 2017 and now effectively managing a dedicated team of customer service professionals.

With extensive experience in all facets of the business, Holly enjoys innovating processes and procedures with the customer at the forefront of her mind. Managing customer relations across multiple sites, Holly deeply understands customer needs and anticipates future requirements to ensure we are consistently delivering an exceptional level of service.

Harrison has worked in all parts of the business since 2014, starting in the retail store and transitioning into account management and then becoming our Business Development Manager focusing on key customers, retail/product ranging and business improvement.

He prides himself on product knowledge and the team finds him a valuable resource. Harrison is concerned he may have wasted valuable parts of his brain on memorising product codes and features!

Harrison believes communication between our customers, suppliers and our internal team is key to maintaining a high level of service.

For Harrison the best part about SHAWL Group is our people and culture. He is proud to be part of such a supportive workplace, where a high number of staff have reached 5 year and 10 year milestones.

Jarrod started as a casual on the retail floor where he was unsure of what he would like to do in the future. After displaying an incredible work ethic and a strong operational mindset, he was promoted to Warehouse Manager and is currently studying a Diploma of Logistics and Business procurement.

He fosters camaraderie and teamwork in the warehouse team and displays excellent communication skills ensuring the wider business is aware of operational requirements. Jarrod oversees the logistics of order fulfilment for all SHAWL Group customers and enjoys delivering a high level of service for our customers.

He has been pivotal in the implementation of uniform solutions for major contracts, including the annual uniform rollout for Patrick Terminals.

Ross is a long-time member of the SHAWL family and has completed a Certificate IV in Store Operations. He has 15+ years industry experience, over 21 years working in Retail/Retail Management/Logistics and believes working for a professional, family-owned and run business has brought out the best in him. We all agree!

He enjoys the vibrant, exciting, ever-changing SHAWL business, with a culture of meeting challenges head on and working as a team to find solutions to our customers’ needs.

Ross helps ensure our customers get the best products on the market with service & support that is second to none – who wouldn’t want to be part of that!

Ross is a keen sports fan. You’ll find him relaxing on the weekend cheering on his favorite teams.

Sean has over 30 years’ experience in the apparel industry, working with some of the biggest names in the business prior to commencing with SHAWL Group in 2008.

With over 20 years in IT Management, his background in computer programming, analysis and design meant he was crucial to the build of the UNIFY online portal. Constant and continuing development based on customer feedback and best practices has shaped it into the UNIFY system we use today.

Sean has overseen implementation and management of major client accounts such as Vicinity Property Group, Kone, Patrick Terminals and Built. He is operationally minded and enjoys implementing solutions to resolve client issues.

On the weekend you’ll find Sean enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends.

Leesa and Ash Jones met working together in the Fashion Industry in Flinders Lane, Melbourne in 1990. Leesa was a model with leading boutique fashion experience and Ash had been a part of the Myer Management Cadet program in the 80’s. They married and were blessed with three children, Holly, Sheridan and Will.

Ash was promoted to senior management positions at NNT Uniforms and later KingGee, which brought them to Sydney in 1998. While at KingGee Ash relaunched the “Totally Workwear” category killer concept – which now has 90+ sites nationally.

In 2004 Ash left the corporate world and formed SHAWL Group with Leesa continuing their working life together.

Fun Fact: SHAWL was created using the first initial of each family member (Sheridan, Holly, Ash, Will and Leesa).  

From an original base in Mascot, Sydney, the business has grown Nationally with Workwear and Uniform Showrooms & Offices across Australia and New Zealand. SHAWL Sports was launched in Melbourne in 2018 and has now branched into NSW, Tasmania the ACT and beyond.
